Easter Morning
(To the tune of London Bridge)

Baby Chicks go Peep, Peep, Peep.
Peep, Peep, Peep.
Peep, Peep, Peep.
Baby Chicks go Peep, Peep, Peep on this Easter Morning.

Bunnies like to Hop, Hop, Hop.
Hop, Hop, Hop.
Hop, Hop, Hop.
Bunnies like to Hop, Hop, Hop, on this Easter Morning.

Boys and Girls will hunt for eggs.
Hunt for eggs.
Hunt for eggs.
Boys and Girls will hunt for eggs on this Easter Morning.

Remember to do all the motions you can with this song, sing Peep in a high voice like a baby chicken, hop around the room for the bunny hop, and search with you hand on your brow for the hunting verse. Toddlers love to act out songs and it adds another dimension to the lessons! Try making up a couple of your own, it doesn't take much to please a toddler! ~Parenting Tip~
Many parents begin to give their child juice at 6 months old, but actually it is not necessary until they are older. Prolonging the introduction of juice will prevent tooth decay, obesity, and other nutrition issues.

Once your toddler is recieving juice, follow these guidelines to keep their nutrition in check!

* Dilute their juice, half juice and half water to keep the intake of sugars they are consuming down.

* Only choose juices that contain 100% juice and try to use those that contain less sugar. Read nutrition labels to make sure. Brands that are healthy include the V8's and those that do not contain extra sweetners and artificial flavors.

* Alternate a glass of water and juice throughout the day, so your toddler does not get used to having only juice and milk.

* Don't give your child juice at bedtime, or out of a bottle.

*If your toddler desires juice over water, try putting ice in the water. Sometimes a little coldness will make it more appealing!

Studies have shown that an average 24 month old toddler can say around 50 words. At any age, children can understand more words than they can say. During the third year of life, a toddler's "receptive vocabulary" will grow by a few thousand words!
