Ouches!

The letter O stands for ouch! Gather extra Band-Aids, and bandage wrap, a scarf will work well if you don't have an extra ace bandage. You can also use popsicle sticks for a thermometer. If you have a doctor kit, now is a great time to bring it out. Play doctor and reinforce while playing that when you get an ouch it is a word that starts with the letter O. It main seem silly, but repetitiveness is the key to letter recognition and language development. Take turns wrapping your ouches and use the time to develop imaginary play too.
