Purple Cow

Have your toddler put a small scoop of vanilla ice cream, 2 tablespoons of grape juice, and 2 tablespoons of milk in a plastic baby food jar. Then have them shake, shake, shake! I promise, you are sure to get some giggles on this one! You now have a purple cow!

Here is the rhyme to go along with it!

"I never saw a purple cow,
I never hope to see one.
But I can tell you, anyhow,
I'd rather see than be one.
"

This activity is great for the letter P as in Purple Cow or letter C in Cow!

Studies have shown that an average 24 month old toddler can say around 50 words. At any age, children can understand more words than they can say. During the third year of life, a toddler's "receptive vocabulary" will grow by a few thousand words!
